Instrumentation:
- 1 or more amplified speakers
- 1 piezo-disc contact microphone for each speaker involved
- 1 or more mark-making utensils to attach to each piezo
- A horizontally-level structure by which audio cable can be suspended over
- Paper

A piezo-disc contact microphone is plugged into an upright-facing speaker. The contact microphone is attached to a mark-making utensil and suspended by a structural arm over paper laying on the face of the speaker. This allows a feedback signal to be controlled as the cyclic vibrations move the drawing utensil around the page, creating a visual composition. The performer may affect the direction of the composition through the use of sound modulation hardware.

Instrumentalist version:
Allow the above system to work, but an individual or group of instrumentalists will watch the marks made and respond in real time to the graphic score with their instrument. The performers must NOT focus on the sounds made by the speaker, focusing only on the marks being made on the page at the same rate as they are drawn or painted. This disassociation must be achieved by ones mind alone, without the use of earplugs, and in the same close proximity as the feedback system is occurring.
